Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Diveryo ("we," "us," or "our"), including the Diveryo app and website. By creating an account or using Diveryo, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Diveryo.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Diveryo.
You're responsible for the information in your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.
You can delete your account at any time. See how to delete your account.

Diveryo Premium subscription

Diveryo is free to download and use. Diveryo Premium is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks premium features.

Free trial: new subscribers get a 1-week free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and you'll be charged.
Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase (or when the free trial ends). The price is shown in the app before you subscribe.
Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled under their policies.
Promotional codes: we may offer codes that give free or discounted access to Premium. Codes are personal, can't be exchanged for cash, and may have their own conditions or expiry dates.

Apple users:

If you use Diveryo on iOS, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app, in addition to these Terms.

Bookings with dive centers

Diveryo lets you discover and book dives, courses and trips offered by independent dive centers, instructors and operators. When you book, your agreement for that activity is with the operator, not with Diveryo.

Operators are responsible for the activities they provide, including safety, equipment, staff qualifications, schedules, cancellations and refunds for their services.
Booking payments are processed securely by our payment provider on behalf of the operator.
Listings, prices and availability are provided by operators. We try to keep information accurate but can't guarantee it.

Diving safety

Diving carries real risk.

Information in Diveryo — including dive site details, depths, conditions, weather, AI suggestions and articles — is for general information and inspiration only. It is not a substitute for proper training, certification, local knowledge or a dive briefing. Always dive within your certification and experience, follow the guidance of qualified local professionals, and check current conditions yourself.

Your content

You keep ownership of the dive logs, photos, videos, reviews, messages and listings you add to Diveryo.
By posting content that others can see, you give us permission to store and display it within Diveryo so the features work as intended. You can delete your content at any time.
Only post content you have the right to share, and don't post other people's personal information without their permission.

Community rules

To keep Diveryo safe and welcoming, you agree not to:

Harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse other people.
Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading or spam.
Sell prohibited, stolen or unsafe items on the marketplace, or misrepresent items you list.
Raise false site flags or misuse conservation and reporting features.
Try to access other accounts, disrupt the service, or copy data from Diveryo at scale.

You can block and report users at any time. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Conservation partners and third parties

Diveryo includes information about independent ocean conservation organizations and links to third-party websites and services. We aren't responsible for their content, services or policies.

Disclaimers and liability

Diveryo is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free or that information in it is complete or accurate, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Diveryo or from activities booked with third-party operators. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law, or liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Diveryo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Premium subscription — please cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Diveryo after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
